Abbey Court Medical Centre
Welcome to our surgery website where we hope you will quickly benefit from our user friendly layout. Find out about our healthcare services, when we’re open and the steps to take to make appointments and request your repeat prescription from the comfort of your own home.
We hold extended surgery hours for patients at the following times:
Tuesday.................. 6pm - 7.30pm
Wednesday.......................6pm - 8pm
We are unable to take telephone calls during these hours, so please phone us during normal surgery times. Please note that we do not offer nursing appointments during these times.
On Tuesday and Wednesday Evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm the doors to the building will be locked. To gain access please ring the bell for Abbey Court Medical Centre and our receptionist will let you in. (The bell is located at the front of the building)
Patient Messaging Service (iPlato)
A new SMS text messaging facility has been introduced to Abbey Court. This will enable you to take advantage of appointment notifications and the ability to cancel appointments. Additionally, you will be notified of health campaigns relevant to you, e.g. Flu Reminders

Parking spaces can be found at the rear of the building, however these spaces are limited. It is imperative that you enter your FULL CAR REGISTRATION details into the touch screen terminal located at our reception desk, this qualifies you for 1.5hrs FREE PARKING. This will need to be done EVERY TIME you use our car park.
Failure to do so will result in a PARKING CHARGE of £70, which will then be reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days.
The surgery is unable to deal with queries regarding penalty notices. You will need to contact PARKING EYE directly in order to appeal
There are several designated disabled parking bays for patients at the rear of the building, with a lift for accessibility into the practice.
A hearing loop is also fitted at reception for the hard of hearing.
